By downloading, installing, or using DeskPet Reminder (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
DeskPet Reminder is a Windows desktop application that displays cute animated pet pop-ups for your reminders, includes an AI Assistant for natural-language reminder creation, and lets you create custom pets from your own photos. The free version offers a selection of pets and core reminder features with no subscription.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App. Premium features (including all premium desk pets and unlimited custom-pet creation) are unlocked through a one-time license purchase. Upon valid activation, your license is valid for the lifetime of the product for the device it was activated on, including future premium pets released at no additional cost.
Premium activation is tied to a device identifier generated on your machine; no user account or login is required. You may activate your license on the number of devices permitted by your purchased plan. Transferring your license to a new device may require deactivation of a previous device; contact support if you need help.
You may upload your own photos to create custom pets. You represent that you own or are permitted to use such images and that they do not infringe any third party's rights. We process uploaded images solely to provide the background-removal feature and store the resulting pets locally on your device.

Payments are processed by our payment partner, Creem. Prices are shown at checkout and may change. Because this is a one-time digital license (not a subscription), refunds are handled in accordance with Creem's policy and applicable consumer law. If you encounter an activation problem, contact us and we will make it right.
The App, its design, built-in pets, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. The app name, logo, and trademarks may not be used without permission. Your uploaded photos remain yours.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that AI generated reminders will always be accurate — you are responsible for verifying your reminders.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by nature should survive will survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision.
These Terms are intended to apply globally. To the extent a specific jurisdiction's mandatory consumer protections apply to you, those protections take precedence. Any dispute will be resolved through good-faith discussion first; where formal resolution is required, the laws of your place of residence shall apply.
